Integral Law Ltd - Solicitors Firm in Hendon, London: Review

When Integral Law first popped up on our radar, they did not have a website. These days people rely heavily on a website for any firm to judge whether to use them or not. However people are also always seeking experienced specialists in most areas of law as well. Criminal Law, Divorce, Estate Planning and Property matters are all areas where potential clients would typically rather have a single-case-focused firm handling their matter.

Integral Law Ltd handle the latter of those including both Commercial and Residential Conveyancing. So if there is no website available for a firm you're interested in, how do you research their suitability for your needs?

"Offered a great service on numerous occasions."

Integral Law Ltd

"Integral Law helped me get through a last minute hold up before our closing and literally worked around the clock with us to get the necessary paperwork to close the deal"

"They dealt with all my correspondence quickly and professionally."

The first port of call for many are the independent review boards. These three quotes above are snippets from Google reviews. Other popular forums are available including Trustpilot, Yell.com and Yelp. According to our poll a couple of years ago, the majority of people don't trust company testimonials on their own website anyway. So third party sources for client reviews are always going to be handy.

As this is the legal industry there are also more official sources you can check with. Most legal professionals are signed up with a local law society. Either nationally, by district, and sometimes by town. This firm is a member of The Law Society of England & Wales which is great as they have one of the best information sites we've seen amongst such organisations.

They will provide you with alternative trading names for the firm, other possible contact details, as well as the expertise and experience of each qualified staff member. If you check the page for this firm you'll see that solicitor Michael Nemeth qualified as a solicitor in 1977 and Ziba Dastgheib in 2016. A good balance of seasoned understanding along side some younger blood. That can't help but be a good thing for any law office to have. If you click on the names of each solicitor you'll be shown more information such as their case niches and the languages they speak.

Obviously this brings up the question of 'company establishment dates'. If you've checked up on the Companies House website to make sure this is genuine firm to begin with - you'll have seen Integral Law Ltd as apparently only having a start date in 2018. Please note that this can often be a misleading data because that date on the Companies House site is only when the company became 'Limited'. The law office may have existed as a non-limited company for decades prior.

Either way, should you consider a firm that states 'established in 1881' to be a better firm than one that was only established in this century? Absolutely not. These types of ancient establishment dates that are commonly touted on law firm websites are simply marketing ploys to instill a sense of history and experience. But we know of various tenious uses of such tactics. Including one firm that claimed a 100+ year history in the town by simply moving into the building an older firm use to occupy. (No, really.)

The truth of the matter is that there are no 200 year old solicitors at these firms sat behind a desk as some sort of all-knowing guru. A 40-year established firm may give you a 1-year-qualified solicitor to handle your case. A 1-year established law office may have a 40-year-qualified solicitor to help you with your particular matter. The age of company is not nearly as important from that angle.

A quick note on navigation. As we said, the official site will be www.integrallaw.co.uk and currently www.integrallaw.com does not exist. The name of the firm is quite unique at the moment. We saw only two firms with similar names. The first is called Integra Solicitors with the website www.integrasolicitors.co.uk, but their two offices are far away so there should be no confusion. The other is Integral Legal Services which don't actually handle direct client cases anyway.

Please always be aware of the website you're on and the email address of any communications you get. Across the world home buyers are being scammed into handing over their deposit money to the wrong bank details. Your law firm should never ask you to state bank details in an email and if someone rings you to ask for them - you can always hang up and ring back the official number your solicitor gave you just to be sure.

General Notes: Usually if Legal Aid is possible we've mentioned it above, but you can always ask. We haven't looked in depth at their recruitment program so are unaware of any job vacancies available. For a career with Integral Law Ltd it's best to visit the website (www.integrallaw.co.uk), check opening hours, and find the correct phone/email contact details. Simply emailing a CV to reception looks lazy. Each law firm's Law Society and/or SRA number should be on their site, usually at the bottom of each page.
