Recently we've been making an effort to find you good international firms. Those that have offices in the UK and abroad so they have more collective experience of local issues, language skills, and so on. International firms should also cost less and save time. (In theory anyway.)
Herrmann Lawyers is the first of these we've brought on board the network. However they're not looking to deal with Spanish property issues, your boyfriend being arrested in Italy, or that dodgy timeshare you bought in the Ukraine. They're actually just looking to handle cases like a regular local law firm, but happen to have an international reach.
With offices in Las Vegas and Northampton, is the huge difference between the two cities reflected in the service Herrmann Lawyers provides? Well, the reviews online are very positive. We're not talking about the testimonials they have on their own website either. We saw these on Google:
"Mr Ryan Herriman wasnt the kind of lawyer l needed, However he did give me advice and calmed my worries."
That last one is quite impressive, and unusual. After 20 years in the legal industry, we're well aware that a lot of legal professionals won't even take a call before money is on the table. They'll get their assistant to check that you have a potential case and can pay. However, someone was clearly impressed with the effort Herrmann Lawyers put in to offer advice on a case they wouldn't even take. Rightly so.
Dr Ryan Herrmann has clearly had a lot of help developing his patience though according to the news, as the car park next to his business is a hot spot for fly tippers:
Herrmann Lawyers states a focus on Employment and Criminal Law with the obvious addition of Immigration. They also represent both employers and employees, so will have some good insight and invaluable experience working both sides.
In summary they are a well-reviewed, international, niche focused, experienced, community-minded and helpful law firm who also offer free initial consultations.
Downsides? We'd like to see a bit more information on the website about the firm in general and the people working there. Not their favourite colours or pet's names (honestly, there are dozens of firms doing that these days) but just previous work experience, time as a lawyer and personal expertise.
Unfortunately there are always going to be people struggling to remember how to spell www.herrmannlawyers.com, such as www.hermannlawyers.com or www.herrmanlawyers.com - not to mention substituting the 'lawyers' part for 'solicitors' or 'legal' or just 'law'. Currently www.herrmannlawyers.co.uk is not owned by anyone either. But even if you're not so easily forgetful, it's always a good idea to bookmark the official site once you're on it just in case.
